Xtended Early Adopters Lead VoIP Apps Market
At Connections 2009, BroadSoft challenged our customers and partners to revolutionize how individuals can purchase communication applications and introduce the first transaction enabled Marketplace. We are excited that two of our innovative customers met that challenge. SimpleSignal and Telepshere Networks are now actively preparing to introduce their IP-communications based Application Stores through which their end-users will be able to choose from a broad array of new and innovative applications and services. By taking this step with BroadSoft, both SimpleSignal and Telesphere Networks are poised to drive incremental application revenue for their businesses.
These great accomplishments could not have been realized without the support of our application partners, particularly Ditech Networks, who successfully on-boarded their PhoneTag voice mail to text transcription service to the Marketplace. Users of BroadWorks voice messaging can now attach the PhoneTag service to voice mail and read their voice mail at their desk, or on the move, with just a few clicks of a mouse.
Another of our esteemed developers, Joe Developer, is also going to make life easier for end-users with the Adobe Air based QuickSet Pro application. This application allows users to manage their BroadWorks phone features regardless of whether they are Mac or Windows users.
Due to popular demand, we are working toward adding the BroadSoft Unified Connector for Salesforce to the Marketplace as well. We will let you know when this highly sought after application is available.
Other candidates in our pipeline include Attache, a native BroadWorks client for Mac OS X, a mobile client and softphones. Let us know if there are applications that you would like to see on the Marketplace by sending you ideas to marketplace@broadsoft.com.
