G9 Converged Media Gateway
The GENBAND G9 Converged Media Gateway is a high-density trunking media gateway architected for both fixed and mobile service providers. Built on the field-proven software base of the 8000 Media Gateway deployed since 2001, the G9 platform includes multiple GSM, UMTS, UMA and CDMA-specific features and codecs for use by mobile operators, as well as an extensive suite of fixed line network interfaces and features. The GENBAND G9 Converged Media Gateway also includes an Mc IMS interface for open, standard interconnection to IMS media gateway controllers and softswitches.
