On September 16, GENBAND executed on its next generation vision with the acquisition of NextPoint Networks.
In acquiring NextPoint, GENBAND enhances its position as a world leader in IP Security and Session Border Gateway technology. This enables GENBAND to take advantage of the tremendous growth in IP networks and the ever-increasing need to securely connect these networks to each other. It also allows us to add state-of-the art security and IP session management technologies across our portfolio of products.
Our expanded product portfolio now reflects three product classes: the G-Series media and IP gateways, the S-Series session border and security gateways, and the C-Series Gateway Controllers.
